This listing is for one 100g skein of self-striping sock yarn in a 4-stripe sequence (pink, grey, yellow, grey) and a co-ordinating lime mini skein (20g). The sample is worked over 64 sts on 2.5mm needles (this may vary depending on your gauge).
Fingering Weight SELF STRIPING
75/25% Merino Nylon
400m - 435yds/100g plus 20g (80m) co-ordinating mini
2.25mm - 3.25mm
PLEASE NOTE - the beauty of hand dyed yarn is that no two skeins are identical. While skeins are dyed with the same colours in the same way, there may be slight variations between skeins.
75/25 is a sturdy sock yarn and versatile enough for other fingering weight projects. This yarn is designed to self strip. The gold and orange heavier striping is separated by a thinner natural strip. Ideal for socks, this is a fun yarn to work with.
I make every effort to ensure that the colours are photographed as accurately as possible using natural light, but every computer screen can be a little different.
To block your garment, add a good splash of vinegar to cold bath water. Although we make every effort to ensure that our yarns are rinsed well, different water conditions in your area may cause some colours to bleed. By using the above technique for your first wash, this should eliminate any possibility of spoiling your project. To keep your yarns bight and happy, I suggest that you hand wash your finished garments with cold water, rinse well and lay flat to dry on a clean towel.
